In one sentence: What is Concrete Art for me?
An art genre that is too narrowly defined for me with a leading role in art history.
Do I see myself as a representative of Concrete Art?
No.
Who is my favorite artist in the field of Concrete Art? Which position in Concrete Art was particularly formative or impressive for me? Which pioneers of Concrete Art do I see as role models?
For me, the "Arte Contreta no Brasil" and its representatives are the most impressive; Lygia Pape, Lygia Clark, Geraldo Barros, Lothar Charoux.

Concrete art crept into my life very slowly, so I can't remember my first contact with it.

The beginnings of Concrete Art had, I would say retrospectively, an influence on my artistic work. During my studies, I was always working in a way close to Constructivism first and then Concrete Art and on to the trends of Minimal Art without ever having decided in advance to do so. That these epochs already existed was for me in part sobering and in part reassuring.

The attempt to understand the fundamentals - structure, movement, nature, society
